During the AcrySof^® ReSTOR^® IOL clinical studies, patients' lifestyles were enhanced through improved vision and greater freedom from reading glasses and bifocals. In fact, according to the AcrySof^® ReSTOR^® IOL clinical studies, 80% of AcrySof^® ReSTOR^® IOL patients found they no longer depended upon their glasses, compared to only 8% of patients with monofocal lenses following bilateral cataract surgery.
